Причины взлома и злоумышленных вторжений так же различны, как различны типы злоумышленников:

• Для организованных преступников характерна материальная заинтересованность, они ищут информацию, которую можно продать или использовать для вымогательства денег у жертв;

• Мотивы террористов — политические, часто религиозные;

• Промышленные шпионы ищут информацию о конкурентах;

• Раздраженные работники желают причинить ущерб системам или получать информацию, которая может доставить неприятности работодателю или бывшему работодателю;

• «Хакеры-любители» пытаются доказать свое мастерство.

Типология специализаций и культурно-этнические различия в субкультуре «хакеров»

Все разнообразие взаимодействия человека с информационными технологиями можно представить в виде трех типов деятельности:

1. Познавательной,
2. Игровой (рекреационной),
3. Коммуникативной.

В соответствии с этими тремя видами деятельности выделяются и наиболее заметные (в том числе и негативные) формы изменения личности под влиянием активного взаимодействия с информационными технологиями, такими как хакерство, игровая «зависимость» и Интернет-аддикция.

Mолодежные субкультуры: хакеры

В отличие от движения «скинхедов», движение «хакеров» более оформлено, структурировано, финансово обеспечено и имеет более высокие темпы использования возможностей (интеграции), как общественных движений, так и всей капиталистической и демократической системы в целом. Движение «скинхедов» в этом плане менее профессионально и менее востребовано элитами общества, когда как «хакеры», прежде всего профессиональное движение — является одним из основных проявлений развития глобальной экономики и транснациональных корпораций. Можно сказать, что «хакеры» сегодня больше являются частью глобализма, чем частью движения против него. Движение хакеров представляет из себя значимую силу, благодаря научно-технической революции в сфере компьютерных систем и программного обеспечения.

Хакеры представляют так называемую «элиту» технической революции, и их существование ставит пред нами важные вопросы:

«Съест ли и когда революция своих детей?;
«Начнется ли компьютерный террор?»;
«Куда приведет нас техническая революция?»

Многолетнее исследование большой выборки молодых американцев впервые позволило показать совместное влияние генов и социального окружения на такой сложный фенотипический признак, как политические убеждения. У носителей варианта 7R гена DRD4 склонность к либеральным взглядам тем выше, чем больше у них было друзей в юности, тогда как у носителей других вариантов этого гена политические взгляды не зависят от числа друзей. The 'mystery' and the evocation of the Redon's work represent an exploration of his internal feelings and psyche. He himself wanted to "place the visible at the service of the invisible". Thus, although his work seems filled with strange being and grotesque dichotomies, his aim was to represent pictorially the ghosts of his own mind, the ghosts of the fallen, invisible world.  The most telling source of Redon's inspiration and the forces behind his works can be found in his journal A Soi-même (To Myself). His process was explained best by himself when he said: "I have often, as an exercise and as sustenance, painted before an object down to the smallest accidents of its visual appearance; but the day left me sad and with an insatiate thirst. The next day I let the other source run, that of imagination, through the recollection of the forms and I was then reassured and appeased."

From an early age on, Munch grappled with poor health, intense emotions, depression and suicidal tendencies, though he did eventually undergo therapy, stopped drinking and lived to see his eightieth birthday.

Munch’s 1895 The Vampire — alternately titled Love and Pain — focuses on the concept of the female as a blood-sucking entity. A woman leans over a man who seems helpless and passive, her mouth perhaps ready to bite into the back of his neck. Her red hair is long and loose and looks like blood dripping over them both, this being the only vibrant color in an otherwise dark and claustrophobic scene. And though there are no visible fangs or traditional vampire gore, the then-tormented Munch definitely gave the impression that love can sometimes turn into a private horror show.

With his inclination toward mythic heroines or beauties gazing into crystal balls, it is not surprising that Pre-Raphaelite artist John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) painted his 1886 The Magic Circle. In Waterhouse’s work, a gypsy-like young woman stands before a cauldron in what seems to be an ancient or eternal land. She casts a circle to draw power to her magical workings while ravens gather around, and she is barefoot, signifying her connection to the earth just as the cauldron connects her with the fire element.
